In 2007, Santec provided what was to become the first phase of the .120 mgd wastewater treatment facility for the Fortuna Del Oro RV Resort.  The second phase was added five years later, when CAL-AM Resorts purchased the RV Park and immediately undertook a plan to expand and upgrade the Park facilities.  A major upgrade focus was the sewer utilities, when they engaged the services of Corporation to conduct an investigation and report on the condition of the facilities along with submitting recommendations for either replacing or updating the current facility.

This report was delivered to CAL-AM outlining two alternatives.  The first was to construct a new facility in a new location or undertake a 5-year plan to upgrade the current facility in the existing location while continuing to operate and maintain the facility.  At the time the decision was made to upgrade the current facility the critical issue was could the current facility be brought into and maintained in compliance with the new effluent reuse permit.  Under the direct management of Santec and Z1 Consulting 50% of the facility upgrades have been complete with not violations of the permit.
